March 16, 20251 yr Hi there! I’m not the most experienced flight simmer and I’m looking for some expert advice! I like to be quite realistic with my flights and in sim I often fly the Airbus A330-300P2F to and from Glasgow International EGPF and I’m curious as to how realistic this is? Is there any way to see which stand supports which aircraft types as on the LIDO charts I don’t see anything that mentions where I can park (although I’m still learning how to read those). The cargo stands 65,64 at Glasgow seem to be suitable but in sim it’s a little bit tight. Any advice would be greatly appreciated but please don’t say “try Prestwick!” 😆 Edited March 16, 20251 yr by Oldmateliam
March 16, 20251 yr I would also be interested to know this. In P3D it was as easy as opening up the airport AFD files in Airport Design Editor, and checking the parking spot sizes and designations. Unfortunately, I do not have that option in MSFS 2020. March 16, 20251 yr I also use Flightaware to track real flights between my departure/destination which also give departure/arrival gates and it has frequently guided me to an appropriate gate when I would otherwise have no idea. It's quite handy especially when going to an unknown destination. It looks like this on FA SYD Sydney, Australia SFO San Francisco, CA left Gate 53 Sydney - SYD arrived at Gate G12 San Francisco Int'l - SFO Sunday 16-Mar-202512:03PM AEDT (7 minutes early) Sunday 16-Mar-202507:38AM PDT (17 minutes early) 13h 35m total travel time Edited March 16, 20251 yr by psolk Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk

I’ll check that too although I don’t think any A330-300 fly to Glasgow Airport and park at cargo gates

March 17, 20251 yr I generally park my 777F at Gate 37 at EGPF Glasgow, so I think that you should be able to slot your A330F in there comfortably Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester

I just thought them because of the cargo hangar next to them but your suggestions do make a lot more sense! 1 hour ago, Christopher Low said: I generally park my 777F at Gate 37 at EGPF Glasgow, so I think that you should be able to slot your A330F in there comfortably I’ll definitely give that one a try! March 17, 20251 yr Does this website respond to the OP's question? I have no idea how accurate or comprehensive the information might be for any particular airport, but maybe it's a place to start. https://ifatc.org/gates?code=EGPF John Wiesenfeld KPBI | FAA PPL/SEL/IFR in a galaxy long ago and far away | VATSIM PILOT P2 i7-11700K, 32 GB DDR4 3.6 GHz, MSI RTX 3070ti, Dell 4K monitor
