Messed up everything for me. I didn't even know about the first opt in beta until I purchased Inibuilds A350. When trying to  load a flight plan in the FMS it locked up. Was advised of the beta build opt in and voila everything was wonderful. But now, all kinds of issues with this build such as the 350 and any other purchased content not showing up in the sim. I de-installed and  reinstalled the 350 but still not showing up. sigh.

Had to re-set   the sim back to my custom community folder. Re-installed Fenix but now I have to re-install the liveries. Fenix is now showing up but not Inibuilds A350.

But Inibuilds requires one to stay in the beta program for their A350 to work correctly ????????

I'm amazed that, with the knowledge we gained since MSFS2020 release, there are still so many who bought MSFS2024 in the crappy Microsoft Store instead of Steam. I thought everyone had learned their lessons, but nope.

No, that was only before SU1 released.  You can leave the beta now.

I’m going in, never had a problem before being in the beta with updates, my install is totally custom.  Having said that, wish me luck,

Beware this "update"

Hi folks,

We have escalated this internally. Our production team has advised me that they were doing some backend work in preparation for the start of the SU2 beta. If you were previously enrolled in the beta test group, you may receive this download, but it is not the SU2 beta nor is it an update to the sim; you will remain on the same version (SU1 release, 1.3.23.0). We are currently investigating why this might have resulted in some of your settings or Community folder being reset.

Thanks,
MSFS Team"

Fantastic. Another example of Asobo not checking their OWN work before releasing something.

Yes, but they told everyone to go IN to the beta for the release which probably included a lot of people who normally wouldn't have gone into the Beta (like myself) and subsequently been exposed to this...

It was the first Asobo/MSFS Beta I have ever participated in and the last. My '24 is blown away.

Fired up 2020 and following the F1 series from YMML-ZSPD right now.  Did you guys know how big Australia is?  This is a big Island!!  LOL  Fascinating scenery down below crossing Australia right now.

I have only been dabbling with 2024 and I'll return to have to set everything back up again after PMDG releases... I have less than zero motivation to go through everything again for 24, heck, deleting the entire sim is even worse than the initial release and never having access to it to begin with...

Have a Wonderful Day

To be fair, this doesn't appear to be any sort of intended Asobo release, it's a bit of Microsoft incompetence.  They still don't seem to understand their own software....

What I really like is the announcement ‘something bad is going to happen to your sim’ and then….nothing; radio silence.

Just suck it up…
