Hello,

I'm facing persistent issues with PSXTraffic in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020:

1. The traffic freezes every 10 minutes, forcing me to restart the software. Occasionally, I see this error in the logs: SIMCONNECT_EXCEPTION_UNRECOGNIZED_ID Other times, file writing simply stops without any error message. 2. Real Traffic does not track my aircraft once I leave the airport. My latitude and longitude remain at 0, and I receive an error message regarding this issue.

It's worth noting that only PSXTraffic is affected by these problems—other add-ons like FSLTL, BeyondATC, and others that use SimConnect work perfectly.

I’ve tried various solutions, including reinstalling MSFS 2020 and testing all applications using SimConnect one by one, but nothing has resolved the issue. I find it particularly frustrating because I purchased a RealTraffic license, which is relatively expensive, and it feels like wasted money if I can’t fully utilize it.

Has anyone encountered similar issues or found a solution? Could this be a compatibility or configuration problem with PSXTraffic?

I will look into it but in the mean time I would suggest that you switch to PSXT, that works directly with the RT API ( not using the RT app). An easier, faster and better alternative.

Edit: yesterday I could not get PSXTraffic connected to the Real traffic app. Maybe there is a problem with the app.

No, but at my web site it is clearly stated that PSXT is to be preferred.
