I tried another flight this morning and the co-pilot is now sitting down in the galley! lol. Terrible update. And the FPS is garbage. And then to cap it off MSFS froze. Had to task manager out of it.

Are you in the flighting version of fs2024? Beta can cause quirks... Maybe better to stay with the stable version?

No betas. After the betas screwed me I did a complete reinstall without betas. The update before this latest for 350 ran perfectly. Then this update and all hell broke loose.

🙁 Sorry to learn that... Well since I opted for the beta yesterday and already got 1.4.9.0, I decided to keep only the default install, no addons, so no way for me to test this release...

That's been happening to me for a few versions, it's not a new bug.

The taxi camera light that worked in version 1.04 is also not working in version 1.06.

Does it have a working taxi camera as well???  Sadly the P3D version of the 777 had it but they said it wasn't capable in 2020, would love to hear if ini has one in 2024...
Thank you

So what I did was went back on the beta. One and two. Then loaded up with the new update for the 350 and though the frames are poor I put FSR 3 and FSR frame generation on. Very good frames with this. However, I still have the sunken first officer. lol. In any event was able to load a flight and so far is flying ok (knock on wood).

From what I can discern the update before last didn't need any of the betas as the initial problem of freezing on loading a flightplan on the FMC was cured by beta 1. However, when I loaded beta 2 all kinds of problems encountered which is why I did a fresh install without betas. Indeed I was told that the update before the last one didn't need the beta anymore which I confirmed. When I updated to the latest 350 that's when the problems started. As a consequence I entered back into the beta 1 and 2 and that appears to have fixed it though the FPS for this plane is poor.

Darnit..  Thank you for the response though.

Do you happen to know if it is a core sim limitation?  I loved opening it and getting 4FPS with the 777 in P3D 🙂

In a basic flight, one encounters about 25 obvious bugs and errors. This is not counting individual errors with the way vertical navigation is handled, in terms of what the aircraft calculates it ought to do, how these calculations are shown on the various displays, and what the aircraft actually does. If these individual errors were added to the count, the number would be at least twice that.

This is just doing a basic flight without delving into deep systems stuff, and also ignoring the flight model, sounds, art etc., just basic systems things.

It is really nowhere near the standard they billed it as being, and a long long way from other products at a similar price.

I have never understood why iniBuilds has so many word not allowed who, in my opinion at least, are totally deluded about their products. Unless it is because they sponsor a load of streamers, then the streamers over-praise and hype everything ini does to get more viewers, and then all the people who know no better go along with this.

Which you have reported to them, right?

Yes, I have made PDF documents with explanations, screenshots from the aircraft and from the FCOM, and links to videos.

I have a theory that we commoners are given faulty copies on purpose.

You see the comments for example of the a330 in photos and on Youtube and then it doesn't even comply with something as basic as glide physics, which is free but when you read some of the comments it seems to be at FSlabs level.

Performance is still abysmal. Either it’s not meant to be flyable in 2020 or they don’t know how to optimize planes. 6 patches and almost non existing improvement

I'm surprised you're saying this because it's running fine on my mid-range system with Lossless Scaling and AutoFPS. The plane hasn't crashed once on me and I only have 8GB of VRAM. What are your specs and what FPS are you getting?

Somewhat entertaining remark...as an A350 owner now.

Im not paid by them to test and report.  That takes alot of time.  Am I flying or testing for them?
