How on earth can an airplane that is taxiing off the runway be producing enough wake turbulence to flip you over? That second picture? Is that airplane just starting the takeoff roll? Same question applies. Asobo’s understanding of wake turbulence is extremely flawed.

Landing AI is still bugged, it was still going high speed when it was exiting the runway.

The second image the 767 was about to lift off.

Sim controlled Aircraft don't generate wake all the time on the ground unless something bugs out on landing. It starts generating on their takeoff roll.

Some CFD based aircraft seem to generate wake all the time. I've noticed it on the C172 and A5 Icon

  • It seems to be a matter of completely opposing perspectives. When I "grade" Asobo and MSFS, I do it with a very keen remembrance of what came before. The years of "Lipstick on a pig", and flight

  • Have you ever bothered to read long list of fixed of your regular OS updates? And you are still using it and don't complain LOL

  • There is a thin line between constructive criticism and mindless bashing. A "true simmer" cares about positive improvement of the product . The simple truth is no one is forcing anyone to buy 2024. Th

Is it just me or did this sim become a constant beta test? I mean, thousands are inside the beta almost all the time (considering the huge amount of negative feedback when it was messed up prior release of SU2 beta), the time between SU1 final release and SU2 beta was just some weeks, there is no timeframe given for how long those betas usually last and so on.

What is it all about? Why they dont simply release those betas as regular updates? I mean, at least you can expect that certain bugs will then be fixed within a reasonable timeframe in contrast to those introduced in regular SUs which remain until the next official SU release.

2020 was the same way when the open betas started.

Could be jet blast...  you wouldn't normally want to taxi a C172 right behind an airliner...  I've seen some bad things in my career lol.

I have to admit how beautifully they lied looking us straight in the eyes on every livestream. ❤️

I wonder if they trying replicate jet blast? Jet blast could flip light airplanes easily. In fact I witnessed it once! Corporate jet was at the ramp trying to get over the "hump" and blasted parked behind (about 100 feet or so) two 152 (with tight down).

I don't believe it was jet blast. I was behind 747 and didn't get moved around at all until it was near lift off.

So sim controlled aircraft start generating wake at the start of the take off roll, and it stops after landing once they finish the landing roll.

but BATC injected aircraft don't generate wake until they're lifting off

I'd glad you're acknowledging your own flaws.

Would you mind ellavoraing with scientific proof that Asobo's understanding of wake turbulence is extremely flawed, otherwise, checkout youtube videos on how powerful a jet turbine can be.

Was it? If I remember correctly, most betas appeared with a clearly communicated release strategy, at least I think I remember that most if not all SU in MSFS appeared on the communicated release day. When is the release day of SU2?

Sometimes its best to leave peoples opinion alone and let things go (Make note i am in no position to question or test his assertion and i will not). I know its a discussion forum but ....

Anyways back to topic. Has this update improved the VRAM issue in any way shape or form ? I was going to sim last night but fell asleep after a hard workout.
