Teach me MSFS2020, free accomodation, holidays in Spain !

Featured Replies

Hello everyone! I've had the MSFS2020 Premium De Luxe for a month, but I can't handle it. (Flying a small plane would be okay, but it's no use if you don't know how to operate the sim). Just one example: I'm laboriously searching for the lever for the parking brake, but it's covered by the control yoke. Only by chance did I see that you can remove the control yoke with one click. But nobody tells me that. Except youuuuuu !! Come and stay with us, Boa & Harald (71) on the island of La Gomera, Tenerife, Spain, and spend two hours a day (except Sundays) helping me fly this flying machine! You're welcome to stay for free for one or two weeks, within the time frame 10 of april till 30 of may, 2025, and bring a partner with you, too. Both live for free in a huge, very well-equipped mobile home. (There's even room for three or four without it being too cramped). Maybe you have time for a change. That would be fantastic! We are really uncomplicated, funny people! And once a week we go on a big day trip by car to the other end of the island. It's very varied! And if you want to learn to dance salsa, or a simplified version of it, then I can teach you! PC and SIM well equipped. 80 cm monitor, control yoke, Boeing thrust levers, pedals. Would like to fly small aircraft, a DC 3, and if possible an airliner. VFR is sufficient. If you can't come, I would consider helping me out on a job via video telephony. So, see you soon! We're looking forward to it ! Best, Boa & Harald --- Please PM.

Have a nice day !  haraldo --- MSFS 2020 Premium DeLuxe --- good equipment, buildt 2024 --- Thrustmaster pendular Yoke Boeing --- Quadrant throttle --- pedals

Update, I decided to go and see what this was all about, and I do not regret it!  Have set up this rig in a tiny village on the beautiful island of La Gomera and we are flying successfully, circuits a

I'm not far @haraldo, staying 3 days in Gran Canaria right now on my 2nd, but returning to Portugal tomorrow.

It's the third island of the Beautiful and Wonderful Canaries we visit. Maybe one day we can visit La Gomera!!!

On the other hand, I no longer use fs2020 because I moved to fs2024, but I think I could still help.

Maybe we can arrange for something using remote desktop assistance mode?

Really? I don’t see any request for money. Just a request for help.

The Canary Islands are a popular holiday destination for many Europeans. I was in Tenerife myself last October and will visit again in June. But I don’t have MSFS.

Very tempted by this. I work remotely anyway and can offer help. I'm busy with my ATPLs.  I've been to La Gomera too, amazing place.  I'm also in the UK at the moment so the flights wouldn't be too expensive.

I don't want to end up in bits scattered around the island though.  Maybe let's see if they stick around 😅

I could see La Gomera from my hotel room balcony in Los Cristianos. With a regular ferry service it’s easily accessible from Tenerife.

I think you’ll survive. 😉 La Gomera isn’t exactly known as a hotbed of organised crime. 🤣

I think there is a Binter flight from Tenerife.   I was on that ferry last year, it's great.

In our world these days it's so rare to see someone making a kind, genuine offer like that of the OP that people become suspicious...

Anyway, I have a friend from Andaluzia who I met, just as 98% of my friends, through aviation and flight simulation.

He and his wife used to come to Lisboa to have lunch with me, and they were actually so fond of the Portuguese beaches that during summer they came almost every weekend to Portugal.

We had lot's of time to discuss at the table the latest news from the flight simulation world and discuss every detail about the Sims we used - FSX and Aerowinx.

Great times!

Jeroen Hoppenbrowers who you all know as Hoppie from his well known ACARS app / service also used to visit meet me in Lisbon every year. He actually now lives here in Porta Land, the most beautiful place in the whole world, but don't say this to... you should know whom, because the guy may end up wanting to buy us.... 🤣

Yeah, I really like their service.

Flew for the first time with Binter from Lisbon to Lanzarote, when they still used the CRJs... Their mid range fleet is now Embraer 190 and 195.

Yesterday came in a TAP (by the way... also the best airline of the World) Embraer 195 😁

I'm very tempted, subject to clearance from the girlfriend.  The worst case scenario is they don't exist and I arrive on an island and book a room to work from for a couple of days, then return.
