Wilco Airbus - Lights and Texture Question

Recommended Posts

I'm using the Wilco Airbus, and when I fly at night, I see this:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/190113.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/190112.jpgNow is it just me, or do other users experience this un-even lighting situation? Is there a patch for it?Also, the cargo textures seem to have been ignored...http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/190114.jpgCan anyone clarify if these are normal issues?(Sorry if there was a better place to post this topic)Thanks.

That "uneven lighting" is a result of FS9 gauges being used in FSX. Understand for FSX a new form of gauge lighting was introduced whereby every bitmap used in a gauge must have a xxx_night.bmp replacement bitmap. At night, the virtual cockpit has a very bright "backlighting" applied, and as a result all gauge graphics that do not have a xxx_night.bmp alternate are displayed using their daytime bitmpas. The net result is they are now "too bright" in both the 2d and VC panels.See my FS Insider article for details:http://www.fsinsider.com/developers/Pages/...veTextures.aspx
