I had no idea. 😁

Anyway, my 14900K is currently in the oven, in the Thermal Grissly Delid DieMate.

Will I be successful, we will see.

You have to have a spare CPU, be stupid, or be wealthy enough to buy a new one to delid.

I would post this in the Hadware forum... but nobody seems to do sexy things in that sub-forum anymore. There was a day when internal loops, external loops with massive MO-RA radiators, chillers, delidding and all manner of stuff was discussed.

I dare say Charlie will move it if required.

Good result. 15 degrees cooler on the hottest core.

Having said that, before the delid it hit 100 degrees on that core, so throttled. In which case it would have been above 100 without throttling.

Minus 15 degrees and an unknown degree more, in that case.

I'd say the Thermal Grissly heatspreader seems to be a good product.
