Inibuild A350 screen freeze MSFS2024 SU1 latest 1.08

Featured Replies

I'm not much of a tweaker, if things are working to my satisfaction I usually leave well enough alone.

Last week MSFS starting crashing my entire PC - that is it was making the PC reboot. Not a CTD. A full reboot.

So I empty out my community folder and start adding things back 1 by 1 as I need them.

It'll be a while before I reinstall it again.

Sure, that's why they have 8 patches with endless lists of corrections because everything is perfect and they work so hard because deep down they are masochists. 🤣

I don't think anyone said there were no bugs or issues, because there were. Just saying now they've corrected quite a few either caused by InI own faults or by Asobo kept breaking things with their SU's. Quite a few owners are flying the A350 without issues that's being reported here. And most of them has been or being addressed by Ini. Nothings perfect. trying to develop and release a perfect software package yourself.

No issues with the plane in long flights or wasm crashes although the sounds are very mid. I feel that when landing, the plane flies like a paper plane and also decelerates too quickly.

I got my first WASM freeze ever in the A350 yesterday, and I wasn't even doing anything complicated, I opened the drop down menu to go and select init.

That's after 140 hundred hours in it with no WASM issues.

Restarted the sim and it worked without issue, just completed a 17 hour flight, NZAA to OTHH, 2 hours ago.

how is you GPU usage in the inibuilds a350? mine is around 60-70%, Fenix a320 is at 99% is it something wrong?

IIRC the A350 is more CPU intensive than the Fenix. So you're probably hitting a main thread limit before your GPU limit.

Hello Michael,

Yes I have that freeze every time but normally in flight in 2024.

Just then on the ground about to get pushed back by GSX I had  CTD.

Hopefully it will be sorted out. Other developers has have a long history with problems like this

Other than that i am quite happy with the plane , but hopefully they can improve takeoff and approach flight manouvre.

It seems a bit to pitchy to my taste but it can be my setup also but i doubt it a bit.

The A350 is an unstable mess (WASM, now straight CTDs) from the very beginning and hardly improved after 8 updates - but since they introduced that perfectly working autosave feature it's become more a nuisance than a plague if any crash happens. Just restart with the A350 anywhere at around the sim-time it crashed, click on the last autosave and voila back where it was, like 99% of buttons, switches, entries. If any payware aircraft had such an autosave, people really wouldn't care anymore about CTDs.
Still with that newly introduced Navigraph CTDs in 1.08 I'll just step away from it for a bit.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

I had the freeze issue also, but I got it resolved today. Right now I'm about 2 hours from landing at KSLC. After resolving freezing issue, it's been flying like a champ. I'm still not crazy about the ground handling A little bit to twitchy for me. But it's flying like a champ.
