No Dash 8 in 2020-2024, almost a crime.

In my opinion the Dash 8 is the greatest commuter turbo flying today. I just can't understand why we don't have one. Is the big glass cockpit a necessity for everyone now? The ATR is nice, but just not up there with the Dash 8.

One reason I still have P3D installed. No one says you have to delete P3D just because you have 2020/24. Storage is cheap!

  • There was another thread here on Majestic specifically…apparently the systems are quite well developed but they lack a 3D modeller? Given the prevalence of Q400s in the Canadian skies I’m eagerly

  • I hear you... really miss the Majestic Q400 in MSFS. One of the best planes in FSX/P3D. In a perfect world, we would even have their Q300 by now.

Who knows if we will really ever see it unless they colab with someone that has the staff.....just my opinion.

I agree, I miss flying the dash!

I fully agree.

Another aircraft that's missing in MSFS2020/2024 is the Turbo Commander 690 (or also known as Twin Commander 690A/B). I enjoyed them very much with P3D4.5, some five years ago?.

Cheers, Ed

I remember getting the Majestic Q400 and even buying the training videos for it, by some Q 400 pilots. It was a handful to learn that's for sure.

I miss having the Majestic Dash in-sim, good thing I still have P3D installed until Majestic finally brings out the Dash for 2024.

Agree with you - personally I think it’s unlikely we ever see the MJC DH8D. The lack of regular updates for years, relative quiet of the team, etc remind me of the LVLD 757, and it’s clear they don’t have the resources of other devs who have been actively developing for MSFS.

The original Dash 8s aren’t terribly complex aircraft - would be great to see from pretty much any dev. Not likely to lose sleep over a train that never left the station, as it seems with MJC.

I agree - it does seem odd that the Dash 8 has been overlooked. With the new Nuuk airport, it'd be nice to have the Dash 8-200 to replicate Air Greenland's operations there.

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

Same here. The Dash 8 and the FS Labs Concorde is the only reason I still have P3D installed.

I have thought the same, watching their live cams at the airport. Many other around the world, like Air Nigeria in the video above.

I'd much prefer a Q200 over a Q400, but I'm fairly certain I'm in a small minority.

Yes, we need a Q400

I would be happy with a 100, 200, 300, or 400. I doubt we will ever see any though.
