I second that. feelThere (Vic) has acknowledged that they are investigating the problem with too steep bank angles. A SP1 will hopefully solve some of the issues. But it's still a very nice aircraft with a lot of eye candy.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/190493.jpgUlf B

lol that's some eye candy I could do without :( - not a big "virtual cabin" person but now that I have a new system (E8500 @ 3.16 ghz, 4 gigs corsair ram, GF8800 GT 512mb) I guess I can explore them if I feel the need.

It's really amazing to watch them. So, you will be required to register at just about any site. AVSIM, in fact, required you to register before you could post here.

It still amazes me at how people who don't own a FS aircraft from "put your least favorite developer here" and don't intend to buy it expend the most energy bashing them in every single thread started about "put your least favorite developer here". Really folks if you don't like a particular developer, fine. don't buy anything from them and IGNORE any forum threads about them. Since you aren't going to buy from them again anyway why the intrest. There are a couple of developers that I won't buy from ever again but I don't take every opportunity that arises to bash them. What would be the point...they just don't get my money. Having done my first flight with it yes there are some bugs but I did not experience anything as extreme as 45 degree bank angles...etc etc. yes there is a vnav descent problem and I hope they get these things fixed but overall its a nice aircraft with bugs but nothing a PILOT can't overcome.

They simply cannot post until they register. That is the ideal situation, because "guests" can browse the support forums to get some "feel" first... ;)

Hey it isn't always about 'bashing' someone you know. People have a right to be informed. If we all purchased something that wasn't very good at all but chose not to say anything, your fellow flight sim friends would have no idea how bad a product is and make the same mistake you did.It has become very trendy these days for people here and in other forums to start picking on people who have something negative to say. Anything I have said in any forum regarding anyone can be backed up by fact. If I can stop someone else making a mistake then good.Oh and to keep the balance, I have in the past said many good things about other developers..plenty in fact.Just that I have purcahsed a few things from Wilco and when people start to complain about their latest offering well it is no wonder people such as myself feel the need to say something.Rich.

Just to let all of you know, when you are in the VC of the E190, its not a E190 virtual cabin. It is the virtual cabin of a 170, just look at the flaps, they are of a 170. They just linked the 170 virtual cockpit and cabin to the 190. Kinda strange.

Rich, if you purchased something and it wasn't any good then you have also purchased the right to complain about it. If you read my post I was talking about people who badmouth a product they don't own or intend to purchase just because of who its it made by because they certainly have no other basis on which to have an opinion on that particular product.

>interesting as eaglesoft's product forums are locked behind a>registration process ... w/out registration one can only>view:>>News and Announcements! >New Forum Registration!>Eaglesoft and Vista >Frequently Asked Questions >Eaglesoft Discount Coupon Questions>Eaglesoft Ecommerce Purchase Questions >--Correct Scoob. And they will stay that way for the reasons stated here by an experienced forum admin. The fact that registration is required for a support forum should be a comfort to legitimate users who wish to obtain real support. We've setup specific product forums for ease of use rather than having everything strewn about. There are nothing "unofficial" about our support forums and we endevour to make the support experience as pleasant as possible. We also enforce our forum rules stringently so that customers are able to receive support without abuse from other users. At the end of the day we strive for a high level of friendly support but allow no B/S :-):-)

i agree with you rob ... which is why feelThere's new aircraft forums are locked to non-registered users. the reasons are the same as you said, "The fact that registration is required for a support forum should be a comfort to legitimate users who wish to obtain real support." i as a mod also, "enforce our {feelThere's in this case} forum rules stringently so that customers are able to receive support without abuse from other users."my concern is why bob stated 'good' is what eaglesoft's and feelThere's are not ... "GOOD forum software will allow unregistered "guests" to read their forums." is eaglsoft and feelThere 'bad' because both developers have the same forum policy?--

Scoob, it's Ron not Rob and the definition of "good" is apparently in the eye of some of the beholders. Our policies are straightforword and easy to understand. Our forums are setup for easy access to specific sim versions of specific aircraft in order for us to provide the best support we can muster. With that goal in mind we have not hesitated in our registration requirement and can see no reason why forum registration requirements could ever be a minus.:-)

@fsxmissionguy - Perhaps my point was not clear, simply, why should I register to view a forum? Surely, you could gauge a products suitability by the type of threads in the support forum? I do not wish to post, simply, browse!@wills42 - You have a point - and I agree - but, you also have the right not to read a thread bashing "put your least favorite developer here" :(
