I haven't had many chances to fly with pilots who fly them, but the few flights I did revealed really interesting flight qualities like being able to catch thermals in a Zephir... I open the TDS unit, load MSFS2024 then select the GPS in the EFB, but I only see an option for the 530. What have I missed? I had that issue at first, I had not used it in a while and found that with some update it was uninstalled. SO, use the TDS installer, you'll probably find you need to reinstall it. Oh, another thing about the avionics, once you do that it can be tricky to figure out how to turn the word not allowed thing on, LOL. After you turn on main power and alternator (the two red rockers), you also need to "roll" using your mouse wheel, the far left knob. That one drove me nuts for a while, everyone says something about the "brightness" so of course I figured it must be one of the controls ON the 750, but its not 🙂 The unit works like a charm once you do these couple things, good luck! I installed the 2020 version no problem but the 2024 installer doesn't seem to load it into the aircraft selection. Tried it again but it says it's already installed. It doesn't appear in the community folder either. Any advice would be appreciated thanks. What happens is when you run the JF installer it has the 2020 Community folder by default, if you want to install in 2024 you have to reselect a new folder right, BE SURE you have the FULL path to the community folder in that path. The first time I installed I had the parent directory selected, so it happily placed it where I said 🙂 Go look with your File Explorer, you'll probably find the directory in that wrong place and you can just move it into the community subdir. May 11, 20251 yr Please disregard my previous remarks about the trim, as it was was only me seeing an issue it was obvious the fault was at my end. I’ve successfully found the issue and now I’m ops normal and out flying the PA 28 over the Lincolnshire countryside in the late evening sun. Now I’ve got that sorted I can confirm the flight model is a Bobby dazzler 787 captain. Previously 24 years on 747-400.Technical advisor on PMDG 747 legacy versions QOTS 1 , FS9 and Aerowinx PS1.

Martyn - Just Flight My Bravo quadrant was creating issues. I had a rocker switch mapped to Nav lights and Beacon. Once I removed the mapping (I made a separate Bravo profile for JF Pipers), no more issues with the PMS50 version. Had issues with the TDSXi caused by MS/ASOBO disabling the folder in the Community folder. That is now resolved by re-enabling.
May 11, 20251 yr Sigh... I've been trying to make the autopilot in this thing work, and it's completely broken as far as I can tell 😞 It works in the Warrior, but in any of the Arrows I just can't get it to do ANYTHING! I'd love to believe there's some little thing I'm missing, if anyone here can tell me it works for them I'd be thrilled to know how?? After take-off and gear up, I'm in a run-way heading stable climb, I turn the AP on, that works in the sense that the rocker goes to on position, the runway heading is also where the HEADING bug is set, I push the HEADING button, it doesn't stay in position but I think its a momentary thing? but in any case after that moving the heading bug has no effect, i cannot get it to change course at all. I also have tried the "hidden" altitude capture spot, and that doesn't work either.... 😞 I've filed a ticket with JF, I was hoping maybe someone here can tell me I'm missing something?? Jack F. So, if you keep hitting that button in the tablet it cycles thru your options, which ones appear?? Also did you check the TDS installer as I suggested?? Of course given my discovery with the autopilot having the TDS there isn't a lot of help 😞 Jack F. Vogel, Delta Virtual Airlines
May 12, 20251 yr Is possible to increase the brightness on the garmin 530, very hard to read during a daytime flight.

Thanks jfv. Unfortunately, the 2024 installer doesn't give me an option to change the installation folder. Once I agree to the privacy statement, it goes straight ahead and installers it to 2020. I would rather install it into my community folder and enable it using addons linker, which I always do with other aircraft. I copied the 2020 aircraft folder to my community folder and it appears in the 2024 list, but the yoke is locked and the tablet is blank. There is another "panel" folder I found, so I will try to make it a separate entry and see how that goes. Why is this so hard !!!!

Having no problem with the AP in the Arrows in MSFS 2024. I did find that for NAV to take you need to have the aircraft sitting over the Magenta Line, & the rotary dial on the RHS turned to NAV, as well as the HDG rocker switch pushed in [On]. & sometimes the AP On rocker will rock back & turn itself Off if I am trying to bank on to the Magenta line & climbing or diving, at the same time as turning. ie, AP seems happiest as regards setting it in flight, if the aircraft is straight & level. May 12, 20251 yr Congrats for the release of this update, but I would have a quick question about the Warrior @Martyn JF In the changelog featured here ( https://community.justflight.com/topic/2476/update-change-logs-v0-4-0a-released-edited-09-05-25 ), there is no mention of CFD in the latest patch. But in the one here ( https://support.justflight.com/support/solutions/articles/17000118189-pa-28-161-warrior-ii-msfs-changelog ) there is. Which is correct? Does the Warrior benefit from the exact same enhancements as the Arrows?
