Acceleration With SP2 Already Running

Recommended Posts

Guest TonyPiech

I've got FSX with SP2 running currently, and and contemplating purchasing Acceleration to perform carrier take-offs and landings. It's my understanding that Acceleration comes with SP2. Does this cause me any problems when installing Acceleration? Do I have an option to install Acceleration without installing SP2, or will I be OK to just install, and automatically over-write SP2 when installing Acceleration?Tony

You must uninstall SP2 prior to installing Acceleration...Acceleration will then re-install SP2 as part of it's routine.

Installing Acceleration should be easy. As I recall, you may have to uninstall SP2 so that Acceleration can install. If so, it will prompt you.If you don't have SP2 at all (or even SP1), Acceleration should install all of that automatically for itself. Jeff ShylukAssistant Managing EditorSenior Staff ReviewerAVSIM
