May 7, 20251 yr To mount an FCU + EFIS L + EFIS R there are 6 brackets in the shipment boxes, 2 with the FCU package and 2 with each of the two EFIS. You can join these 3 units together and then put 1 bracket on each end of the assembled panels, at the far ends. This will not cause the panels to be front heavy and so they won't annoy you by tipping forward easily. But the only support will be at the 2 far ends and the assembled panel will be wider and take up more space. Wider because of the 2 brackets you added on the ends. But you can instead mount the brackets on the rear instead of the ends. There are 8 possible locations on the back of the assembled 3 panels to mount brackets (plus the 2 end mounting spots). 4 places on the FCU and 2 places on both EFIS, total 8 possible locations. So my advice is to use all six included brackets, not just two. (I wish it came with 8 brackets). Screw mount all 6 on the back and none on the ends. Using six brackets instead of two will add the weight to the back of the panels and help prevent tipping forward. If your desktop will take a velcro without thout marring the surface, then use Industrial Strength velcro on the bottom of all six brackets. That's a rock solid mount. Cut the 6 velcro strips to size with scissors and then apply. The included 3M pads will not hold with anywhere near the strength of velcro. If the velcro pads you put on the desk are larger than the velcro strips on the brackets, then you can at any time lift up the assembled panel and move it around. And then press it back down at the new location. https://us.winwingsim.com/static/download/QmefLD52Ttpfn2REnpYofNPP86Uo5bRxPgzhpTNF6UwZqH?filename=EFIS-32R-User Manual V1.02024.09.pdf https://us.winwingsim.com/static/download/QmZc6TJs2dMNdh7vp8F3NJ1uFooarYX7dvcYLNQ4G6Ax2a?filename=FCU User Manual V2.1,2024.11.pdf 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. May 7, 20251 yr A bit of a tangent here, but WinWings availability estimates are really starting to bother me. For some products they at least say more than 45 days but for others they keep moving the signposts. I preordered the MCDU in the EU shop a a month ago. Back then the estimate was April 30. April 30 came they moved it to May 8. Now they moved it again to May 15. That's pretty much 45 days since I ordered. They really need to rethink their production capacity. I assume they are doing it somewhere in China, that's the only way those prices are possible. But neither size, speed nor delivery seem to be up to demand.
May 8, 20251 yr Author Another thing is that the EFIS and FCU are not plug and play. Mine started out by lighting up and passing the simapp pro tests, but did nothing in the sim. What I had to do in order to get it working was to point Winwing simapppro to some msfs2020 and 4 msfs2024 folders. From then on, it works perfectly. This video might help. And these pictures (your folders will be in different locations, depending on your installation and whether Steam or Store. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. My main niggle with the Winwing software is that they, more or less, require you to unplug all extra USB devices you have and just plug in the Winwing hardware (plus your mouse and keyboard) in order to update the firmware (or to install a new Winwing device). I gave up with the local stores and just went Global. FWIW, I ordered a MCDU on Apr 24th and it arrived to me in the UK on May 6th.

May 9, 20251 yr 20 hours ago, Farlis said: I'm NOT going to pay 45€ shipping. I will rather wait 90 days. 😉 It’s still cheaper overall. Global: MCDU & Shipping - $168. £128. UK: MCDU & Shipping - £134 Assuming the same applies for the rest of Europe. Check local import rules but mine to the UK have incurred no extra charges.
May 9, 20251 yr I preordered the MCDU and 737 FMC from the US site back on Jan 25th and they just shipped this past Monday, May 5th. Crazy.
May 9, 20251 yr Author I pre ordered MCDU in early April, only a month ago, and they also emailed me this Monday and are now shipping it. Right now it is no longer a "preorder" item on their website. Anyone who wants one should buy now. Because I think it will go back to being "preorder" very soon. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. May 14, 20251 yr And now availability for the MCDU has once more pushed back to a new date in the EU shop. Instead of today they estimate 30th of May. They surely come across as having no clue at what they are doing.
