May 24, 20251 yr Author Many thanks all for your overwhelming participation, pieces of advice, help offer if I get stuck, tutorials recommendations, and stories of transitioning from Boeing to Airbus! I've sent a like to everyone who participed in this thread. I've learnt some interesting things, like the BFU (Big Fenix Update) I was not aware of, like the A320 Fenix is the only plane some of you fly in FS2024. Okay, so my take-away is: the A320 Fenix is the 'Community's Choice' Award. Similar to the 'Editor's choice' in the magazines, but much more powerful 😉 Edited May 24, 20251 yr by Simicro FS2024

May 24, 20251 yr I have had the FSL airbuses in P3d for years and have been happy with them so when it became available for 2020 I bought. Quite happy with it. Hope eventually they bring out a 319. That said I don't have the Fenix and there's lots of good things being posted about it - I just stayed with what I knew and the budget only allowed one Airbus. Both are worth spending your money on.
May 25, 20251 yr After reading this thread about the Fenix, I decided to get it out of the hangar this morning, I haven't flown it in months. I am now on my second flight today, and it is flying very well. I am going to stick with it for a while. It's a nice change from the Boeings.

I've been learning/flying my Airbus for a few months, and now I'm enjoying the PMDG 738 (again). Now I'm on FS2024 and maybe it is time for me to learn Airbus so I'm considering the Fenix A320. On their blog, I can read (November 24, 2024): "This update brings initial compatibility with MSFS 2024... This is not simply the 2020 version ported, we’ve rebuilt the package with the 2024 SDK... However, a disclaimer before we continue: We consider MSFS 2024 support entirely experimental at this stage and DO NOT consider 2024 compatibility an “advertised” feature... We will not be accepting customer support tickets in the 2024 environment at this time" 1) Knowing that I'm doing normal operations (no fancy flight, no failures, etc.), short flights (LFPO-LSGG), can I buy now or should I wait a bit? Any heads-up or attention point? 2) I've been away a couple of years but from what I could read, Fenix is the way to go right? Apparently there is no much talk anymore about FS Labs. Looks like they have been surpassed? I only like Boeing and just started to learn the Airbus systems. Of course I started with the MSFS A320 by inibuilds and found the experience to be less than enjoyable. It turns out the frustrations were with inibuilds. Some aspects are not accurately modelled. I then bought the Fenix A319, 320 and 321 which are more accurate representations in terms of systems. This made a world of difference and flying the Airbus really fun. I now like both Boeing and Airbus. Here is my Fenix A321 test flight. Hand flown approach with no autopilot to get use to the sidestick. Airbuses are much easier to fly than Boeings in my experience. May 26, 20251 yr Once you learn the Airbus Logic you will probably like it way more than Boeings lack of logic. The Airbus way really is very intuitive. --Sean Hart
May 26, 20251 yr Fenix remain as one of the very top tier Devs in all of MS flight Sim. Far above Pmdg, Aerosoft etc. Almost at Black Square level. The only disappointment is they haven't chosen to develop any Boeing aircraft as of yet. But that's a personal preference thing. Edited May 26, 20251 yr by Greazer http://youtube.com/c/Greazer
