Hi there, I have had this problem as well and the solution that I used was to go through all the config files of the offending aircraft and look through all the fltsim.xx sections and rename the aircraft title so that there are not two the same. See the example where the two stars are on the end. Each has to be unique.[fltsim.0]**title=FA-18 Hornet**sim=FA-18kb_checklists=boeing_FA18_checkkb_reference=boeing_FA18_refatc_id=N001atc_airline=NAVYatc_flight_number=001ui_manufacturer=Boeingui_type=F/A-18ui_variation=Blue Angels 1ui_typerole=Twin Engine Jetui_createdby=Microsoft Corporationdescription=The Hornet combines the ruggedness required of carrier-borne aircraft with speed and superior agility, especially at high angles of attack. Its powerful engines, canted vertical stabilizers, horizontal stabilators, large leading- and trailing-edge flaps, and sophisticated flight control system all contribute to a level of performance that makes the Hornet a versatile front-line fighter in several air forces around the world.TonyIntel E6600 Core2Duo, ASUS P5B Deluxe, 4GB OCZ Platinum PC6400, NVIDIA 8800GT, 2 Seagate 320GB SATAII, Creative Audigy2 Value, Dell 22 WFP, Saitek X45, Saitek Yoke

I just finished reinstalling FSX and all the available WOAI and MAIW and I only have about 6 of these errors that I have to correct so it is possible that a recent install is affecting a older install and you may have two locations to look for and correct if this is the case.TonyIntel E6600 Core2Duo, ASUS P5B Deluxe, 4GB OCZ Platinum PC6400, NVIDIA 8800GT, 2 Seagate 320GB SATAII, Creative Audigy2 Value, Dell 22 WFP, Saitek X45

I know why. Go to this topic:http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...topic_id=452031At one point of time, you either installed the airlines with a different installer or accidentally deleted the WoAI Installer at one point. There are 2 solutions: either go ahead and edit about 20 Aircraft cfgs per every package install, or uninstall ALL packages and airplanes from your SimObjects folder, and reinstall every package. It took me 4 days, but it was worth it.

BoeingGuy

If u change the name then it will not be used ?? - or did you decompile and change the name in the Aircraft text file. Then recompile .
