Changing colour of user airspaces, made with a .txt

Featured Replies

I used this post (titled "Creating and displaying custom user airspace", below) to make a .txt in the User Airspaces folder, to add an airspace for my local airfield, and regardless of what class I set it as, it's border shows up purple. I would rather like for it to be orange or something (some colour that stands out a bit, as opposed to dark purple). I tried using this 78. Customize — Little Navmap User Manual part of the LNM user manual to try to change the colour, but that doesn't seem to affect the airspace I added (which also doesn't disappear). Even if I deselect ALL of the airspace types.

Basically
1) Is it possible to change the colour of custom user airspaces, and if so, how?
2) How do I hide custom user airspaces (since I don't need them to be visible 24/7)?

You can change the color only by type. This affects all airspaces. To me it looks like you added an unknown or invalid airspace type. Types are listed here: https://www.littlenavmap.org/manuals/littlenavmap/release/latest/en/AIRSPACELOAD.html#openair

It is hard to diagnose without knowing what airspace you added. Maybe a snippet from the OpenAir txt file with the faulty airspace can help.

Either in scenery library menu to hide all custom airspace or by type.

1a) I've set AC to G (for Class G), so it's not an unknown or invalid type, but it still doesn't change colour.

1b) Well I copied the airfield used in the thread I linked above, EGTF, and my txt (which I named egtf.txt) has only this inside it;

AC G
AN Fairoaks ATZ
AL SFC
AH 2080ALT
V X=51:20:53 N 000:33:31 W
DC 2

I've tried doing the SB and SP commands, but it never changes anything

Under 'Scenery Library' the only options are;

"1 Microsoft Flight Simulator X"
"2 X-Plane 11 (empty, no simulator)"
"Navigraph - AIRAC Cycle 1801"
"Airspace Libraries"
"Load User Airspaces"
"Validate Scenery Library Settings"
"Load Scenery Library"

When all the options under Airspace Libraries are deselected, the airspace in question still does not disappear

So yeah, I have no idea why it won't change colour and won't disappear haha. Any help is hugely appreciated

Thanks for the information. I put the airspace description into a .txt files and loaded the airspace library.

Loading above airspace ok using user airspaces. Class G is enabled. Deselecting "User" hides the airspace.

Colors above (half-transparent red fill and blue boundary) according to changes in "C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\ABarthel\little_navmap_mapstyle.ini":

[Airspace]
ClassGFillColor=#20ff0000
ClassGPen=#0000ff, 1, Solid

Restart is needed after changing colors. Better keep LNM closed while changing the .ini.

Ah yep. I just closed LNM, edited the ini, and reopened LNM, and it works now. Thanks haha.
