With more airliners released to 2024 the usage of 2024 will increase. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
June 14, 2025Jun 14 Tried the new update of the 300er in MSFS24 after a long absence and got an unresponsive fmc during flight preparation on the first flight. WASM crash I suppose? Another major annoyance is the texture quality of the liveries, at least the Emirates one from the Ops Center V3. You can literally see large pixels of the dirt marks all over the airplane, is there a way to install higher resolution textures somehow?

June 14, 2025Jun 14 The only thing about the 777 that is disappointing for me, is has the worst performance of any of the tubeliners I fly.

I'm not sure what you're experiencing based on your statement, but it would be beneficial to know and for people to take note if it applies to the user. In my case, I notice intermittent microstutters. I turned off the EFBs, all traffic, even dialed back on settings, without any success. When I use the Display FPS feature, I notice intermittent spikes on the graph. The only time is when I use the PMDG in MSFS2024. I have a powerful PC, and any other a/c with max settings, I don't have those issues. Smooth as silk. The other problem, more pronounced in 773, is still present in 772: poor implementation of the C*U law during trim speed. While the idea is correct, the reaction of the airplane while hand-flying during speed changes is way off. I can explain if necessary, though it may be difficult for people who have not flown the airplane to understand. 747 Captain for the last 39 years, and still learning.

Absolutely, I'm working on adjusting some items, but it is very challenging due to gauge coding related to that poor implementation of the C*U interference. If you're interested, you can look out for a PM. It's more likely to be for the 772 initially. 747 Captain for the last 39 years, and still learning.
June 14, 2025Jun 14 After using Fenix only really in MSFS 2024 i forgot how amazing PMDG is just done first flight the performance is great and its a polished product. June 14, 2025Jun 14 I have not noticed any performance issues with the 777F in MSFS 2020. It feels much the same as my 737-600. After being disappointed with that product, I didn't bother getting any of the other variants. It's unfortunate that it still has these issues.
