What package are you using for your AI? I'm using AIG for my AI and don't have any issues with landing gear not visible. I know at initial release of 2024, Ai did not have landing gear or lights, but that's all been fixed.

No it isn't. If you spot some landing aircrafts on VATSIM e.g. you will see they do not have any landing gear visible after some time

And again... proof or it is not true. Again you might confuse it with the bug that WAS fixed, that AI planes do not show ANY landing gear. But the disappearance at a too close distance still exists.

I have no reason to lie about AI traffic working for me. I don't fly on Vatsim, I only use free flight mode, so I can't comment about vatsim. If I could post a screen shot, I would. I also watch my AI in drone view from a distant landing and taking off and I did not see any issues. I also not using SU3 beta, just SU2.

It is certainly a big issue in MSFS 2020, but I bet it is not part of the changelog in SU16.

It could be, but I don't fly much in 2020 at all. When I did, I didn't notice ant issues with AI. I'm also not using 2020 beta, so I can't comment on that issue either.

This is still a problem with 2024 multiplayer aircraft, so no, it has not been fixed.

Nobody talks about VATSIM or SU3 beta. The AIG models loose their front gear at a certain distance and further out, also the main gear. And it is like this for ANYONE, it is a bug and still not properly fixed. At release, the AIG planes did not show landing gear at all, even when the camera was close. THIS was fixed. But not the distance issue.

And sorry, nothing more simple than posting a screenshot, bad excuse for a claim that is obviously not true...

That's exactly how it is since quite a long time in MSFS 2020, and in MSFS2024 from the beginning. The reason is aggressive/ faulty LOD handling by the sims. Asobo/MSFS ignore the issues on purpose. This questionable LOD handling came up with an early MSFS2020 update (2021?) to get better performance and usability with XBox. Modern PC hardware would easily handle better LODs and small details, but I don't know much about XBox.
