ATR72 not reacting to turbulence or winds?

Featured Replies

Why doesn't the ATR 72 get tossed around in wind or take turbulence hits in MSFS2020 like it does in real life?

In real life, the ATR 72 reacts noticeably to turbulence and wind gusts—it's a high-wing turboprop with a relatively low cruise speed, so it feels bumps more than, say, a jet. But in MSFS2020, it often feels overly stable, even in moderate to heavy turbulence. It’s like it just cuts through unstable air like butter, barely reacting.

Is this a flight model limitation? Or something in the weather/turbulence simulation? Anyone else feel like the ATR should be getting tossed around more?
