July 12, 2025Jul 12 Every time I launch FSL Control Center and do an update to the A32x series or FSDT Installer, they launch the download page for SODE? SODE is not compatible with MSFS 2024 so why keep trying to download and install when I've selected MSFS 2024? Also, anyone know why FSL Control center is loaded all the time even when I'm not using an FSLabs product? I know the SDK support aircraft selection detection, so why not load what is needed at that point? As a work around I've disabled FSLControlCenter.exe via exe.xml. Rob. July 13, 2025Jul 13 never had that happen for the sode download page to open, best bet is to post the issue in the fsl forum Edited July 13, 2025Jul 13 by pete_auau I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg

Mind you FSLabs are not alone in doing this, Fenix do the same with their Fenix Bootstrapper. July 13, 2025Jul 13 They all do. Ifly does and so does LH MD82 with its bridge. It's just that not always is it in plain sight.
July 14, 2025Jul 14 Author I can understand GSX as that's a more global application, but not sure I understand why others don't load on demand when the aircraft is selected? And I know SODE does NOT work with MSFS 2024 (SODE does work with MSFS 2020). 22 hours ago, pete_auau said: never had that happen for the sode download page to open, Do you have SODE installed for MSFS 2020? If so, that's probably why it doesn't bring up the SODE download page if you do already have it installed. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. - Carl Sagan

So why are several vendors still detecting it and bring up the SODE download page if it’s not functional for their products in MSFS 2020 or 2024? I guess I could try to load it via EXE.XML and see what happens. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. - Carl Sagan
