FSLabs NEO or wait for FENIX? (MSFS2020)

As an aside, there is a reported issue with SI and FSL where TCAS crashes the sim. According to SI, FSL confirmed it's a problem with FSL.

It is only when you use SI Ai traffic, which  is horrible at the moment. I fly with SI as ATC only and use PSXT for Traffic injection.

PS. I had been enjoying FSL in P3D for years. The best ever made jetliner in history of flightsimming on par with LevelD-767.

Was a member of level-d back in the days and was involved in beta testing and of the team from FSL... Just left after the release of the NEO, because it takes so much free spare time it was time for me to move on.

The Fenix is nice, but left my HD for almost 18 months now... Just flying the FSL NEO since I can replicated KLM flights (my oldest son (still young) is a captain at KLM so biased here lol)
There are so many things in there including LR version which you can see in FSL CC with different configurations of the AFT depends on the airlines and the reg of the aircraft.

Every livery has it's custom simbrief profile according to the real world counter part including the custom cabin layout which is different per airline and also for GSX during boarding.
As for graphics that's personal and I have a different opinion here...
So many little details and love the MEL. Tested also SI with the bus and worked perfect only now on the BATC bandwagon, they are pretty fast to solve those issues anyway...

To add I moved to 2024 since SU2 and left 2020

Ah, fair point.

I'm on 2024

The only issue you may have is with your ATC (either BATC, FSHud or default). I know FSHud doesn't allow you to request a direct to a waypoint far far away; so you'll need to cancel flightplan and file it again after jumping ahead. But this is exactly the same issue you'd have when using QuantumLeap for this purpose.

Yes, the FSL jumping to a waypoint option causes havoc with FSHud unsurprisingly and also Volanta! I've used the "sim rate selector" off of flightsim.to without any issues with the FSL. I only tend to do 2x speed on these.

The issue is not just with SI traffic. BATC traffic crashes it also.

The FSLabs A321 NEO has very immersive system depth and nice touches like the tech log. I would argue that the flight model feels much better when hand flying although I have never flown a real airbus.

However, the textures and modelling are really not on par with Fenix, I guess they may address that with future updates.

Interesting. I wonder whether PSXT users affected as well.

Any idea if the TCAS thing is with Vatsim. I assume so if it's a general traffic alert.

Are either the Winwing MCDU or Minicockpit FCU/EFIS working with the FSLabs A21N? Ta.

My Winwing MCDU works with the Fslabs A321 and A321 Neo.

Yes WinWing MCDU and FMS work natively.

I love my Fenix CEOs.  But I wanted an A321neo so I bought the FSLabs version given the release date for Fenix’s Neos is unknown.

All in all I’m happy with my purchase and it has some nice features that the Fenix doesn’t currently have.  Both are quite good in my opinion.

Jump ahead doesn’t just teleport, it also adjusts for fuel burn and time of day.

Yes I know, I was giving a layman's simple explanation to compare it to time acceleration. Also in my post I mentioned that the fuel burn calculation causes side effects. The normal transfer of low fuel wing tanks to center green msg being replaced by a flight long amber warning for example.
