So is FSLabs its not what it once was.

If you are familiar with how the FSLabs A320 worked in P3D then you will be quite at home with FSLabs in MSFS.  Otherwise if you have only used the Fenix A320-21 in MSFS then wait for the Fenix Neo as the learning curve will most likely be much easier.

For the price it is most certainly not. But keep hating on them. Get out of here with that nonsense.

Do you know if FSLabs in FS2020 has support for those thermal physical printers?

1) The Tech Log system, where you will get an imperfect aircraft. The other day I had one with an INOP APU so I had to read up in the included manuals what additional procedures I had to follow, and then also the manuals gave clear instructions on how in the sim GSX would automatically detect this when I requested pushback and introduce an ASU. It also provided instructions on the cross bleed start to engine 1 from there. For me this was excellent additional immersion

2) Overall, the way it interacts with GSX is very seamless, and you request loading and fuel from the AOC system and then GSX does its thing. If you fly an airline where there is a provided 'Airline Pack' then you will get cabin sounds and voices etc for that airline and also be assigned an arrival gate (you can change it if you want) that would normally be for that airline at your destination. Again, on arrival GSX will be waiting at that gate

3)On the NEO FSL seem to have provided a customised Simbrief profile for each of the liveries they have provided. A really nice touch in my opinion.

4)There are many little extras that really in my opinion make it seem like a quality product such as having the EFB or the FMS in a web browser or being able to print AOC messages to either a printer or via Pushover. (I know Fenix does these too).

5)I've also found support to be really responsive either via email or their forums.

6) Of course with the NEO you can use something like TAP airlines to do a combination of European flights or over the pond to the US East coast. I believe the PW engines will be coming out soon which will give a lot more US carrier options in the NEO

If you have any other specific questions then let me know, but if I had to pick my main reasons for the liking the FSL is the tech log system with accompanied with really good manuals to support it.

Hope this helps!

As for simulator overall performance (FPS, fluidity and lack of stutters), which one behaves the best?

Would I be right in saying the FSL jet doesn’t have wing flex?  So do the wings look “wrong” when in the air?   I know Fenix didn’t have wing flex at launch but does now, and it performs well when looking back to the wing from the flight deck in turbulence.

A bit, but not a show stopper for me.

More generally: FSL released an experimental patch yesterday, which made the aircraft finally usable for me. VRAM issues have been addressed somewhat.

Waiting for Fenix. They are the only developer that has never disappointed me

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

In the FS Labs Control Centre settings, chage the mode from 'public' to 'experimental'. You will then be offered the update.

Better get out your 2026 calendar (BFU delay now at 3 months). Meanwhile I’m enjoying the heck out of the FSL NEO.
