Was so looking forward to flying around areas I know and navigating by landmarks. this is impossible because most of them are not shown. how can this be satellite images if the landmarks are no there ? I have tried enhancer mod but it will not run say I dont have privilege's even then I am the owner of the fold is want to mod and I am running as admin, I am the only admin.

I would check your settings in the "Data" section to verify if your simulator is really online.

Are you sure photogrammetry is on? Try looking up videos on YouTube and see if your sim looks the same when you go to that same location.

dont see anything that say Photogrammetry but graphic are set to ultra. There are addons for landmarks and why would anyone make them if they are there in the first place ? I have tried adding the Blackpool landmarks but with no luck. I see it in the list and it says not installed, I can tick it but there is not button to install. if I click another addon it says 2 selected but only installs one, not Blackpool. and the enhancer tool refuses to load saying I dont have the right but many people are now saying that this does not work.

Then I'm afraid you're not looking at the correct settings screen.

I was referring to the Data subsection of the General Settings screen. This is where you have many options regarding online data, and you have to ensure some of them are ON. Photogrammetry is not mandatory for the ground textures, but there should be one option that mentions Bing, and that one has to be ON.

Relating to Blackpool, there are a number of free addons I use including the airport, business park, addon photogrammetry and the illuminations.  Skell and I believe Superspud have done some great work on the area.

Don't forget to unzip any addons before putting them in your community folder.

Generally, a lot of landmarks are not that clear from the air unless you are flying quite low, lighthouses being a particular example.

A video image can never be as clear as the image you see with your eyes in real life, but we are gradually gettiing there as hardware and software continues to develop.

Photogrammetry can be found in the DATA section. As for 3D landmark models, not all of us like photogrammetry. I have this disabled, and therefore I welcome those 3D landmark addon packages.

That's the one, its unzipped and in the community fold along with blackpool airport. the airport works fine but not the landmarks. says not installed on the addon list I can click it but it does not give me the install button

Just checked its turned on and has unlimited data

Just realised that is not the version I have. I am downloading it now and will give it a try

downloaded unzipped into community folder, does not show any of the landmarks but again appears in updates as not installed. I can tick it but there is no install button. if I click 2 updates its says 2 selected but only installs the one, not Blackpool.

After unzipping into the Community Folder, make sure you restart the sim otherwise it won't show.

 

You also need to make sure that it is not a "folder within a folder".
