You also need to make sure that it is not a "folder within a folder".

its in a folder which has other folders which I assume are in the correct positions ? it how they came in the zip file.

I would not know what to move where is they are not in the right place.  the download link is ablove, have a look and see what you think ?

Thanks Alan

  • I would check your settings in the "Data" section to verify if your simulator is really online.

  • Are you sure photogrammetry is on? Try looking up videos on YouTube and see if your sim looks the same when you go to that same location.

Take a look through this. Sounds like you're new to MSFS?

The folder is called Blackpool V2 and is fine, as is.  Where do you see it as "not installed"?

And lastly... it looks like this mod creates a "double tower" issue... is this what you see?  If not, post a screenshot!

Yeah it’s easy once you know where the directories are and all that. That’s why I linked that video. Good luck and pop back in if you get stuck

Relating to Blackpool, there are a number of free addons I use including the airport, business park, addon photogrammetry and the illuminations.  Skell and I believe Superspud have done some great work on the area.

Don't forget to unzip any addons before putting them in your community folder.

Generally, a lot of landmarks are not that clear from the air unless you are flying quite low, lighthouses being a particular example.

A video image can never be as clear as the image you see with your eyes in real life, but we are gradually gettiing there as hardware and software continues to develop.

Have tried them and none work for me. I unzip and drop in community folder but nothing shows. flying over the area at 500ft and still nothing shows.

the only thing I have got that worked is Blackpool airport itself

Thanks Alan

Post a picture of your community folder.

Looks right, but isn't working. Hmm. I downloaded it myself and you have done it correctly (you don't have a folder within folder problem). Sadly can't test it in 2020 as that's not installed.

Try some other addons? Might just be this one that's broken for some reason.
