Very nice video of MSFS 2024

Featured Replies

I just saw this video of MSFS 2024 that was posted by someone on Reddit, and it's one of the better videos I have seen for MSFS 2024:

According to the person who posted that video, no custom add-ons were used.  I think the hotel is probably custom handcrafted from the Canada World Update.  But the rest of the scenery looks to be generated by the AI for MSFS 2024? A really impressive video, IMO.

Not going to watch a YouTube Vid but the screen grab you posted looks cartoonish so that is enough of an example for me to take a pass. Don't need to give the person YouTube clicks either.

Not sure what some YouTuber gets out of making these videos.

We all have different equipment to run the game. So most aren't going to be able to duplicate most likely.

I've stopped chasing pixels and quality and get along fine with performance that nicely matches my PC/GPU equipment.

LOL, it's not even Youtube. Relax, the person can't monetize this video. You need to sort out and distinguish what is a Youtube video and what isn't.

I stand corrected on where it is posted but the rest of my comments remain as I believe to be accurate.

Can't agree. Looks like I remember it when last visited. Of course I did grow up on Bugs Bunny 🐰

Cool, thanks for that reminder of my visit to Lake Louise and the Fairmont a couple of years ago!   Looks just like it!

Yup. I have been to Lake Louise as well before. That video looks very close to the water color and tree type that you would see at Lake Louise, although it looks to be somewhere behind the main lake.

Cartoonish? You must be joking. I haven't seen that word used in reference to MSFS scenery in years -- certainly not since MS2020 appeared on the scene. Nothing in the posted video evokes Bugs Bunny or Superman!

I have a very nice track of Lake Louise I drive in VR .

Thanks to this thread reminded me to check for a MSFS scenery.

Just installed this one!

Hmmmm, I suspect that this is a real video being pushed off as MSFS. I mean, these types of posts have been known to pop up on Avsim. LOL.

Jokes aside, this vid is one reason why I stick with MSFS2024 despite its issues. Another year or so, this sim is going to really shine above all of the teething that we see now.

Nobody’s going to comment on the GIANT brass balls it took to pull off that landing????

looks like full reverse thrust right up to the shoreline!

“Like a glove…” indeed!!

Just after the video cut, the plane and everything around exploded in a giant ball of fire. Thus passed Lake Louise. Much mourned.

/s in case it wasn’t obvious 😀

I believe this is the Banff Springs Fairmont hotel, not the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise  🫢

He is landing on the Bow River..
