Life adds realism to a simulator, much like realistic clouds and lighting. I include vehicles, trains, and other aircraft in this, -  even birds on approach or animals crossing the runway. These elements enhance the feeling of being there and challenge a pilot to react appropriately.  What I don’t understand about this product is: why dinosaurs? Why a remote island? While the “life” aspect interests me, this particular product absolutely doesn’t. It would be far better to encounter eagles over Scotland or America.

Of course, the elephant in the room is the awful LODs in MSFS — you won’t see these things until they’re practically splattered on the windshield!

Agreed. But real life, not movie adverts. How about a feature where ground staff don't have a death wish and stay rooted to the spot in front of spinning propellers? That'd be neat. 😀

Or it could be like most simulators where those people barely even exist except as mods/addons...... In which case we have GSX......

I see birds all the time about where I should and as well love seeing moose and deer roaming around the periphery of some rural airports in the US and no LOD issues with that at all.  Are you referring to 2020 perhaps?  I'm with you on more living things in 2024 it really adds and there isn't enough of it.  I have all the FSBirds add-ons.  More people, dogs running around where appropriate, cattle in fields, etc.  I'm really surprised there aren't more 3rd parties creating this kind of content for 2024.

if the devs create their LODs properly you should see them fine.

Maybe ORBX can do a Walking Dead spin off. Find a zombie free airfield to land and refuel before getting safely airborne again. 

Do you have eyes, the first trailer did show a totally green under texture of the islands, thats abysmal trailer. Hope they can do better in the future. How about a future addon with flying cars etc.

Please pay attention to me I really crave engagement from others in my very comfy echo chamber here!

I NEED you to know my dissatisfaction with such an addon that doesn't meet up to the expectations of my narrow minded bias of Flight Simming only to be enjoyed with 30k+ feet altitude surrounded by virtual cockpit!

I want this to be only a Flight Simulator that suits MY needs on what I feel flying virtual pixels should be, even if it means forcing my opinion on other users over and over!

Again this mod is not for me!! Heh heh heh...if it's for you just know I'm feeling somewhat snarky and very judgemental about your taste and preferences in this serious flight simmer's sim.

I watched the trailer and looked at the screenshots, and apart from a few flying dinos, I didn’t really see any others.
Are there actually dinosaurs in it, or is it just the Archipelago area?
