All Buildings Pink at EHAM after latest MSFS2020 update

Featured Replies

Hello all,

Really pleased with the update everything was going swimmingly until I plugged in a flight originating at the default EHAM.

All the dammed buildings were pink with the chequerboard pattern.

Removed the airport from the Steam library and let the sim rebuild the airport...No Joy.

Rebuilt the fs-base file... No Joy.

Checked Console in Developer Mode and it shows error messages in relation to missing textures for this particular airport, too many to count.

I cannot understand why if I delete and then rebuild the file all the missing textures are not added!!!

Is there anything else I can try in order to solve this issue.

Really do not want to do a re-install, so was thinking of Purchasing the FT EHAM which I hope will overwrite Asobos offering would I be right in thinking this?

Thank You

Regards

Did you update everything in the Content Manager?

It happened to me some time before. One of my existing ORBX runways became pink. It appeared to be another add on scenery renamed (overrode) texture file that ORBX was using. After uninstalling scenery add ons one by one I found the perpetrator and removed it!

After update I had an AIG AI 737 parked next to me that was pink checkerboard. Never had that happen before. Must be some particular texture issue. Since then have not seen any.

Down loaded content manager addons no luck, also disabled community folder no luck.

Couple of other guys over on the Flight Simulator forum had this issue a few weeks ago, they still have not been able to eradicate them.

Oh well will get rid of the ASOBO deluxe version and go with the vanilla version which seems to be OK.

Thank you for all your suggestions.

Same here, I installed all the world updates after the sim update and restarted.

Usual Asobo's shabbiness.

I have FT EHAM...which is very good of course...and I can confirm no pink building textures - this is with SU16 and all Content Manager updates installed.

At LIMC there are pink squares and rectangles on the taxiways and the pavement in front of the parking area is missing.
