And this happens regularly every 4-6 seconds, which I've never experienced before. (PMDG build V.2.0.121 ) now on MSFS2020 sim update 16.

But I've also seen this in the latest PMDG build ( not before ) and without sim update 16, i.e. the latest MSFS2020 build.
Anyone else seeing something like this? I'm a bit annoyed because I've never had anything like this before...🤔

( they are short but they are there, if you use time compression then they stand out more )

I did a flight couple of days before with the INI A350-900 and did not notice such continius stutters..

There are two workarounds: keep the W&B page open on the EFB during your flight or delete the W&B page code from the EFB file (PMDGTablet.js)

I started getting stuttering on all aircraft a couple of days before the update, Im on 2020. reduced all setting down to medium from ultra and still happens. watched a few videos and changed Nvidia setting to those recommended and still stutter. was working fine before on mainly ultra settings.

I think something happened before the update.

Before SU16 I had the best, smoothest, stutter-free performance I've ever seen in any sim. After SU16 performance is a complete mess - stutters and pauses and terrible stutters and pauses when on short final to the moment of touchdown. I've seen folks complain about approach/landing stutters but it's something I never experienced until AFTER SU16.

After SU16 update and update of items in content manager I changed nothing in the sim settings, and as far as I can tell the update didn't change any of my sim settings. I've tried everything I can think of to restore the stellar performance of pre-SU16 to no avail.

Since SU16 I've only flown PMDG 737 and iFly Max and performance has been terrible with both aircraft. It's so bad now I really have no desire to use MSFS.

I find it interesting there seems to be almost no discussion of performance problems in SU16 other than terrain/texture loading problems - and that only for some, with others having no problems.

I'm REALLY hoping the problems we're seeing are server related, because otherwise, until there is a performance fix the sim is useless to me.

Now i have to read the hole Thread, but OK, only 3 pages so.. 🙃

I am doeing right now a flight with the INI A350-900 and none such stutters to see there so could not be the SU16 ( speaking for MSFS2020 ).

Here is the TLDR: PMDG cannot reproduce this and therefore are unable to fix it for now.

I think if they ( PMDG ) sitting hard behind that they will find the issue and fix it, maybe not now but after some time..

It is and it happens, and a lot people are affected and thus prove what is wrong, and if it is on the EFB, which according to the community is the case, they will and must find it...

what are EFB's ? is this only in 2024 ? or something I have missed in 2020 ?

It is the Electronik Flight Bag or Tablet ( EFB ) on the Captain and FO side, there you should stay on the Weight and Balance side, this seems to fix it at the moment, here at MSFS2020 and i do not use MSFS2024 so i don`t know..

Did you find a way to fix this? I too have bad stutters on approach and landing. SU15 didn’t have that. The overall smoothness improved a lot in SU16 but introduced loading stutters as you approach the airport and land. I think it’s the airport assets loading because LOD was changed in SU16
