August 12, 2025Aug 12 Hello, I'm interested in adding a new airliner to my fleet in MSFS 2024, and I really love the E-190/95. I saw that the FSS E-190/95 was stable in MSFS 2024, but wasn't able to find any information on weither it was currently worth it or not in MSFS 2024. Can any FSS E-190/95 owner in MSFS 2024 help me? Thank You.
August 12, 2025Aug 12 It is not stable, route import is a pain and often fails, modifying route is entirely messed up. I would hold back... Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024
August 12, 2025Aug 12 NO. For 2020 or 2024. The LNAV is dicey. Occasionally just "wandering off" skipping waypoints. No VNAV at all. Been in "early release" for YEARS. Missed every deadline they have set. Clearly over their heads and just kicking the can rather than admit they can't finish it. EddieKABQ

Definitely gotta be on edge about what the LNAV is gonna do with waypoints at times. Very inconsistent unfortunately. August 12, 2025Aug 12 I don't believe this addon is worth it in its current state. It's been out for quite some time (I am not a developer so I can't speak about what it takes to get LNAV/VNAV coded) and as others stated LNAV is not great and VNAV is nowhere to be found, and the product has been out for quite some time. On the positive side, the cockpit and textures are good, even in VR. I also like the sounds (the rattling effect on Take off is spot on) They still have a long way to go, EFB needs work, no ATSU (simbrief integration is implemented) but they are not close to anything like FSL/FNX/PMDG, etc. I've jumpseated on that beast quite often to know its quirks, and I hope they can reproduce how sometimes the Autothrottle needs to be overriden by the PF.... It's got potential, but they are taking way too much time to get it right (IMO)
August 12, 2025Aug 12 Can't speak for the supposed "patched in" MSFS 2024 functionality workaround... Outside of its quirks and slow progress with the other navigation modes, it's still one heck of a beautiful VR experience in MSFS 2020. I love this machine! August 13, 2025Aug 13 I have 175 version and have always liked them. Yeah, a bug here or there. Dont much care for vnav as I like to manually set my speed/vs anyway. Though they're compatible with 2024, you have to first own them for 2020 first. I think they're great, despite the disagreements with me here. I do like my other planes (pmdg, fenix, jf planes etc) but these are pretty decent. Love flying for Alaska Airlines with these jets. I'd recommend watching several recent YT tutorials as they have been updated and are currently working on them. I will vouch for the naysayers when it was first released: i didn't like them at that time 7800+4090+64ram Just Flight RJ, 146 and F28, Piper Arrows ---A2A Aerostar and Comanche---Black Square Starship, Duke(s), TBM, Bonanza/BaronV2, KingAir---FSReborn FSR500---COWS Da42---FX P180, HJet & VJet---FlySimWare Chancellor and LearJet---FlightSimStudio EMB175 &P2006T---Fenix 320---PMDG DC6, 737(700+900), 777---C22J---Milviz Cessna 310 & Porter---SimWorksStudios Kodiak, PC12, Zenith & RV14---BigRadials Goose---IndiaFoxEcho MB3339+F35.

It's very nice but limited. I was hoping they solve their VNAV integration by now, but it's still ongoing with them. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they deliver what they hoped for. If Flight FX releases their E145 jets before FFX with the same LNAV and VNAV as their Citation X, then I'll probably lose faith in the E175/195 project. But as of now FFX Ejets are very fun to fly in their current state. They make you work at being a real pilot during decent and landing, which I don't mind as a change up from full automation sometimes. It was certainly off putting that FSS continued to release and put energy and effort into other new products while keeping us in limbo with progress of VNAV systems on the original E170/175 product. That's only from my perspective as a customer being outside looking in. Who knows what the real financial situations and slippery slopes of being a 3rd party software developer are, maybe they had to divert more energy into pushing out other addons just to stay afloat? I quit following the VNAV progress and FSS's social media presence/ patch notes in general. These days I just download the updates and enjoy it the way it is. Little to no expectations at this point. Definitely looking forward to that FFX E145 though, it will be my first real experience with the plane from an actual decent developer, as someone who purchased the Feelthere FSX Version E145 back then out of total desperation.😂 Edited August 13, 2025Aug 13 by blueshark747 Asus Maximus X Hero Z370/ Windows 10 MSI Gaming X 1080Ti (2100 mhz OC Watercooled) 8700k (4.7ghz OC Watercooled) 32GB DDR4 3000 Ram 500GB SAMSUNG 860 EVO SERIES SSD M.2
August 15, 2025Aug 15 Since there's no VNAV yet, do at least both FLCH and FPA modes work? So far in settling with the Feelthere version for FS9/X, but last weekend I had the fortune of sitting in the cockpit of a real E190. These modes could be a workaround for the lack of VNAV. Yes it handles climbing mode quite well, I normally use vertical speed trim to do a throttle climb to altitude. And use my throttles to do a planed vertical descent to rwy. Great plane to fly.
