WinWing FMS and AP unit Steam MSFS2020 PMDG 737-800

Featured Replies

I have both the FMS and AP unit but I cannot get the FMS to light up the display. The buttons work fine when pressed and the FMS in sim updates. I have entered the lines in the Packages\pmdg-aircraft-738\work 737_options.ini

[SDK]
EnableDataBroadcast=1
EnableCDUBroadcast.0=1
EnableCDUBroadcast.1=1

I have entered the paths in the Simapp pro client for steam. The AP comes up just fine no issue. I have followed other post but most just did not have the SDK lines entered. Anyone have any tips? Also the AP works on the iFly but not the FMS as well.

Update, reset the FMS by unplugging the USB and the thing came to life!. DId not have to reboot or anything. Go figure. word not allowed

I had the FMC and Auto pilot stop working in the PMDG 737 , 3 hrs on live winwing support was a waste off time just kept going round in circles multiple screen shots and Vids uploaded to them was a complete waste of time.

what I did to resolve the issue.

Unplug USB on all winwings

Uninstalled Simappro

Restarted PC

Loaded up MSFS in the PMDG 737 without any winwing plugged in and no simappo installed

Restarted PC again

Downloaded a fresh copy of simappro pluged back in the winwing stuff and it was working agan

Are you in 2024 2020? Same here but all I had to do was unplug the FMS and plugged back in and it woke up. I am running .55 version because I heard the newest had issues but I will try the new one.

I use both sims
