Doors don't stay open

Recommended Posts

When I press Shift+e my doors open but then quickly close, even though I don't want them to. Does this happen to anyone else?

Yes, but not all aircraft. It happens a lot on my Pilatus PC-12 after a long flight.

I'd be willing to bet you are parked near a refueling area. It's a known issue that I've experienced, and I have seen it discussed in other forums. After I moved the plane away from the fueling area normal operation returned. There is no answer to the problem that I know of.

I have also had this with the PC-12. I'm not sure what it is but my senior's memory seems to recall that it may be an aircraft configuration thing. Make sure your parking brake is on and electrics are switched off before operating the door. Parking position as suggsted may also be an issue.

Robert is absolutely correct.Your a/c is parked too close to a refueling stand. Move to another spot.
