Airport addons in the checkout basket....

Featured Replies

Which airport addons are you thinking about buying right now, but holding back for some reason? There are three in this category for me....

  • MK Studios EDDL Dusseldorf - I would have already purchased this if the discount was the same 30% that I got with LEZL Seville. The actual offer of 5% just feels like a joke to me.
  • Pyreegue EGBB Birmingham - I was busy beta testing the UK2000 version of this airport recently (this has just been released), so I wanted to test it without the distraction of any other version.
  • RW Profiles EGNT Newcastle - no reason not to buy this apart from being a tight git who is reluctant to see the back of £15!

EDDL Dusseldorf: I have the Justsim version which I like, never tried MKSturdios

Pyreegue Birmingham is great. I think the price is expensive, but I can't see the price, so I'm not sure.

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

Well all 3 of those are on my list too Christopher, but just waiting for an opportune sale to come along. I am quite happy to wait until Black Friday if needed.

The one that I would add to the list which I have read good reports about is Jetstream Designs Gevena. I am targeting that one because that airport was always a pain in P3D to get working properly, so I would like a decent version of it in MSFS2024.

The next on my list is VTBS Suvarnabhumi airport. I need a decent airport in Thailand /South East Asia to fly into. It looks like the only choice is Siamflight's one. Was not able to find anything else.

On the subject of EDDL, I was reading some comparisons  and I know some people prefer the Aerosoft version vs MK Studios, but I think I will get the latter. Both developers have provided updates since initial release but the MK Studios looks more detailed. I also went over to the Aerosoft forum and I was not impressed by the lack of support over there. Many posts made but unanswered so I think I will be going the MK Studios route for EDDL as and when it goes on sale.

Cheers
Mark

I have the MSFS 2020 version of Jetstream Designs/Marcus Nyberg LSGG Geneva, and it is excellent.
