How exactly can I remove the dynamic registration liveries? You can't really remove the original ones. But download one that have been recently updated like here - most have a hand painted registration: https://flightsim.to/liveries/black-square-tbm-850/new-updates/ Also make sure you update your TBM to the latest installer... there is an option in the EFB, i think its on the bottom, something like "enable dynamic registration" (it may be disabled by default - which is good in 2024 because it doesnt work) | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

Your texture.cfg needs to point to the correct fallback locations in order to find the files that are not present in your texture folder. If the file is not present, the sim will show missing textures in pink, or will default to the standard white livery. One other thing you may need to do is to refresh your layout.json file. Having said the above, it seems that a recent update has converted the TBM850 to be native 2024 now (I have not flown it recently but did this morning), which means a new file structure and all texture files to be converted to ktx2. I will convert at least one of my liveries to native 2024 and then I am happy to look at yours for you if you want to send me a DM. It works in 2020, however it just shows a white texture in 2024. I see that several folks have new 2024 liveries for the 850. What do I need to do to convert it to 2024? 2020 liveries can be updated to work in 2024, but it requires a bit of work, re-writing cfg files, adding a folder to the root directory of the livery, and converting the texture files to ktx2 format. I have done several and they are all working perfectly in 2024 now. Cheers, Brian L Robinson Flight Simmer since 1983 - loving the brilliant Quality Wings 787 and all PMDG models!!

Unfortunately, converting the files to ktx2 is a no-go for me, as even the previously mentioned file converter utilizes the 2024 SDK, and I can not install the SDK without updating from Win10 to Win11. Honestly, I am somewhat fearful that they are making things so hard on people, that we will be loosing a lot of good people that have been doing upgrades for us, like painters, because it has become waaaaaay to difficult. They seem to have forgot that it is the third party stuff that keeps a lot of people engaged, much more that their defult offerings Kerry W.
