The only times that I have ever loaded default airports is when I want to check out the surrounding scenery for a payware airport that I am interested in. I will never use default airports for actual flights, because they are simply not detailed enough (apart from the hand crafted ones).

You should thank the developers of the MSFS and the third party airport, that that old machine still manages to run the simulator. 😬

I have always stated that I am constantly impressed by how well MSFS 2020 runs on my current PC, but I am not sure what that has to do with this thread?

Same here. One good example of this is KEWR. The addon airport is really soso, but some of the approaches with the view of New York is amazing.

I also love the KDCA approach with the 737, although I prefer the River approach to Rwy 19 to the Rwy 1 approach. Scenery is very impressive either way.

I thought this thread was about payware airport sceneries, but the video above was a generic KDCA airport?

This thread is about any addon scenery products (payware or freeware), and even the hand crafted airports that are included with the base package.

I am aware of that. It's just that once I see terrain texture "blemishes", I cannot unsee them In addition, there are plenty of military bases in the Bing images that are not blurred.

I live close to the BA116 in France and it is blurred in the game, like any french army/navy site I think.

Cant seem to fly the approach properly for some reason, Then once I had a missed approach  and ended up in the no fly zone.

To much stress for my little heart 😓
