September 16, 2025Sep 16 to all. I'm in the process of picking up a Seagate 4 tb external hard drive. Ms was telling me last night that I don't have enough room on my c drive to run 202 and or 2024. So, can I simply just unistall steam from my computer without closing out my steam account from online? Also, if this is the case, how can I transfer my steam account with fs 2020 and or 2024 from my c drive to the new drive without closing out my steam account? Many thanks. Ron AKA The Blind Pilot
September 16, 2025Sep 16 I just moved a bunch of my steam games recently to a new drive. You'll need to add the new drive as a library location in steam. Then you can either uninstall/reinstall or move the game to the new drive. You'll need to change the community/cache folder in MSFS if you want it on the new drive too. As @jcomm would probably say. Ask the AI. 1. Create a New Steam Library Folder If you haven’t already set up a library on the new drive: Open Steam → Settings → Downloads Click Steam Library Folders Hit the "+" icon and choose the new drive Steam will create a folder like D:\SteamLibrary 2. Move the Game You’ve got two easy options: Option A: From Storage Manager Go to Settings → Storage Select your current drive (e.g., C:) Check the box next to the game you want to move Click Move, choose the new drive, and confirm Option B: From Game Properties Right-click the game in your Library → Properties Go to Installed Files → Click Move Install Folder Select the new Steam Library and click Move Flight Sim PC - OS: Windows 11 Pro.
