RIVA TUNER AND FSX

Is there a guide for the best settings using riva tuner. i have an nvidia 8800gt with 512mgs....thanks...Sherm

Yes, but Riva Tuner does something completely different; overclocking the number one use.In terms of how to use it, I just kept 'hunting around' within the program and figured it out. Pretty much how I figure most things out :DEDIT: Just found this guide from 3D Guru:http://www.guru3d.com/article/rivatuner-20...verclock-guide/For version 2.0, but things really have not changed much.

thanks...I'll take a look at the guide...btw, I've used nhancer from time to time...I'm not always sure of what I'm doing...:-)guess, I better go back to the manual....Sherm

Riva Tuner is mainly for overclocking and changing fan speedsI increased my fan speeds to keep my gpu temps down

Yep, me too. I crank my fan up to hold a steady 75% when running in my FSX overclocked profile.
