New at aircraft creation

Recommended Posts

Guest

Hi everyone. I have been around microsoft flight simulator for years. Now i am at the point where i want to start making my own aircraft. The aircraft editor that comes with FS2002 seems to be more of a tweeking utility. Could you guys give me some pointers as where to start. Is there some software out there that i would need? And tips for a newbie? Thanks a bunch.

Aerodynamics - AirEd152 - http://members.dsl-only.net/~eagle/FDEditor - http://www.flightsimdownloads.com/FS2002 Aircraft Editor - DO NOT USE, causes problems with tweaked aerodynamic values. Configuration files (*.cfg)Notepad/Wordpad or any other text editor with Word Wrap OFF.Graphics - GMax, Imagetool, and other utilities that come with FS2002Pro. You can use other graphics tools, but the theory is that future versions of MSFS with only use GMax models.Panel Editors - Cfgedit at www.cfgedit.com or their shareware version.Websites for help:http://www.freeflightdesign.com/http://takeoff.to/landinghttp://www.gmaxsupport.com/

Gmax should be contained somewhere on the fs 2002 cd(s) and is a good program for designing aircraft in. It is a bit hard to learn but that pays off later.a380 :-)
