  • Fenix is just eye candy? That’s a big call.

  • Not horrible at all. I own Fenix and FSL. I only fly the FSL. Give me realistic systems over eye candy anyday.

  • The Fenix definitely does this when it’s cold out.     It also models ice buildup on the fan blades, to the point that if one side of the airplane is getting snowed on, and the fuselage is bloc

When did I say that? I never said Fenix is eye candy, but you must think so if you jump to that conclusion. I said I prefer systems to eye candy! In other words, I don't get upset if you need to zoom in x25 to see a tiny texture of the exterior that isn't perfect! I spend my time in the cockpit.

These are your words, not mine.  And I’m not the only one who noticed.

I was refering to people who are obsesed with so minor issues with the exterior model that you need to zoom in x25+ to really notice. Not Fenix. So stop twisting my words. I have told you twice what I meant. Do I need to tell you again?

No, you don’t need to tell me again. It was you who brought this up not once, twice but three (and now four) times in this chat so I responded. I’m not twisting your words, I’m just quoting them and besides why are you not berating the other six or seven posters in this chat who noticed the same thing about what you said.  Thou doth protest too much I think.  Quit digging that hole.

How is the documentation included with FSLabs?  Is it thorough or just an afterthought?

The documentation is very good.

You get an introduction manual on how to set up and use the aircraft in the sim, including controllers, etc. An end to end tutorial with and without GSX integration, procedures, QRH, and MEL manuals, and an Airframe Customisation guide. About 4 - 500 pages.

One thing I will say is that the ToLiss is the only A320 that's ever given me an ECAM warning to delay takeoff due to the engine oil being too cold after starting in sub-zero conditions... I quite like that sort of thing.

The Fenix definitely does this when it’s cold out.

It also models ice buildup on the fan blades, to the point that if one side of the airplane is getting snowed on, and the fuselage is blocking the other side, you may get different engine readouts on takeoff, so ice shedding runups are important.

Yea I saw the promo video too - but in all of my actual flights I've never had an ECAM warning about cold engine oil whereas I've had it multiple times in the Toliss.

Thank you!  That sounds rather extensive and what I am looking for.
