Adding light to bounce off wings from beacon. Help Plea

Okay see this pic? I added a second beacon and placed it two decimal points above the original. The light bouncing off the wing is what I want. However now the beacon is twice as intense. Is there a way to add the bouncing light, without doubling up the intensity? If there is an intesity setting I wouldn't know about it. Actually it would be great if I could get this effect without having the actual emitter visible and still retaining the original beacon light. Ideas?Pete

You may be able to do this by editing the beacon XF File.Use the Effects SDK from MS to get the information but what you need to achieve is this.. The standard effect light has a "POINT" light and "GLOW" in the same location so when you add 2 lights you get twice the effectWhat you need in your case is as followsa "POINT" light with no "Glow" and a "GLOW" with no "Point" lightI think this may help ......

Hmm, I downloaded the SDK but have yet to fiddle with it. Sounds like a good idea. THanksPete
