Did anyone keep track of how many top quality add-ons he churned out in a year? Does he ever sleep at night? October 28, 2025Oct 28 In terms of flight model, how do these aircraft perform? I had the Baron in 2020 and had no complaints about the systems, but I always ended up flying A2A Comanche because of the flying sensations. I read the aircraft specifications and can't find anything about the flight model...
October 28, 2025Oct 28 Guys, these two aircraft are unbelievable. The look, the sound (!), the feel, the tablet, the functions...oh my goodness. i dare to say the best GA aircraft i ever experienced since flight simming. a big WOW! October 28, 2025Oct 28 I am really impressed with this one — a wonderful aircraft that flies great. However, I cannot get crossfill to work when using the TDS GTN 650/750. I’ve only tried the pressurized Baron so far, not sure if it’s just on my end. EDIT: Surely works after restarting the flight 🙂 Edited October 28, 2025Oct 28 by yosss

October 28, 2025Oct 28 Just got the turbo-normalized Bo up for a short flight from Ramona to Big Bear. Oh. My. The sounds! The wonderful, glorious sounds! And it's a delight to hand fly. I think I'm going to be spending a lot of hours in this one. Just so very, very good in all respects and right in my wheelhouse for what I want in a GA airplane. I did pick up the bundle, so the Baron awaits. But it may have to wait awhile. And, of course, there's the Turbine version just waiting to make my eyes pop! Money VERY well spent! If you like GA - get these! Scott
October 28, 2025Oct 28 By the way, for those enamored of the turbo-normalized (not to be confused with the Turbine) version of the Bonanza as I am, below I've included a link to a white paper done by Tornado Alley Turbo, the folks who do the turbo-normalized conversion for the Bonanza. It's called "Turbos For The Flat Land Pilot". In the paper, they discuss operations with their system and include a rather unique perspective on power settings as a preferred alternative to traditional x% power MP/RPM tables as are now included in the new manual. Since the old version from Black Square didn't include power tables, this became my go-to for setting power with that plane. Seemed to work pretty well on the old one and so far on the new. Give it a read and see what you think! Note that you'll be using LOP mixture settings in cruise. The "Lean Find" mode in the EDM-800 makes this a breeze, but do check the manual (page 125 and on) to see how use it, and how to get "Lean Find" to do LOP rather than the default ROP. https://taturbo.com/turbooperation.html Scott

October 28, 2025Oct 28 Tim's got me beat both in quantity and quality. But I've uploaded 3 plus a more realistic version of one of the default paints... N158RS holds a special place in my heart because I saw it the first time I ever attended Oshkosh. This version has what I'd say is the proper metallic, logos, insignia and correct wing paint, and is only using the P model. You'll have to deactivate the winglets via the efb tablet for realism. I did include some but they don't match because they're fictional.
