October 10, 2025Oct 10 More info released on the addons announced with the PS5 edition: BlackBird nee MilViz has finally brought their excellent T-38A Talon to MSFS! I’m sad the Charlie model hasn’t gotten the nod yet, but this A model should definitely scratch some itches! Their original versions for P3D were/are used by the USAF/USN IRL training program, and hopefully the High Fidelity has come over, too. the P3D versions had external “CFD” flight models and handled well in the sim (VERY challenging flight characteristics). Hopefully, they’ve used MSFS advanced physics for this one to really bring it to life 😁 in other Good News, FlightFX and Working Title teamed up to bring us the Boom XB-1 supersonic transport demonstrator. With a glass cockpit, new Avidyne Avionics(!), and what seems to be close attention to the IRL flight control systems, etc. even better news is that the Boom looks like it’s going to be a FREE release in the Famous Flyers series! the MilViz T-38A didn’t mention that, so probably paid? Worth it in any case 👍
