Asobo A340 massive drop in FPS taxi and takeoff

Featured Replies

I installed the payware version of WSSS (Changi , Singapore) and while on the ground , configuring the FMS , everything stays steady at around 58-60 FPS.  Taxi and and takeoff plunges the FPS to 8-12 FPS.

It never recovers the whole flight.

I don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but I have tried this flight with 2 different variations of the A340 and also at night and during the day with live weather  .

My MSFS 2024 is installed via Steam onto a SD drive, which has about 175 GB remaining before it is full.

Be interested to know if anyone  else is experiencing this

Hi Ray,

Which version of Singapore have you installed? I presume you're refering to the iniBuilds A340? (there isn't an Asobo one as far as I know).

Is this happening on every flight?

WSSS  - Its the original 2020 version which works on 2024. This may be the cause - not sure. More testing to be done and if necessary, and upgrade will have to be made if it is the Airport.

I have to do further testing with different aircraft once I have time..

And Yes, I meant the Inibuilds a340, Sorry

Okay Update, when i took out the Fenix it too was seamless until approximately 7 miles South of the airport climbing out, then the FPS dropped by half to 32 FPS.

The difference is that the Fenix recovered once I was en route to 60 FPS..
