Some love cats and apparently some love dogs... but...

If you couldn't have a dog or a cat, what kind of a pet would you chose. I really like Snow Leopards, but might be hard to handle. So I'm thinking perhaps a Honey Badger.

Amazing creatures, can be mauled by all manner of big cats and walk away unharmed, bitten by snakes etc. And they have the temerity, after a bunch of leopards have attempted a mauling, to chase after them for another round. 😁

What would you chose, Avsim animal lovers. Exotic pets accepted.

Don't worry, people, Mr. HB in the video below is fine. Hard as rock. 👍

Leopards are allowed though? I guess I'd sort of cheat and try keep one of these Iriomote cat . Nah, too exotic. I like dogs too! I'd just stay with my relatives in Tucson Arizona, try and befriend a coyote and tame it, maybe end up with one hand less. Bite the hand that feeds you.

I would love to have a little owl running around the house:

That opening scene looks surprisingly familiar.

I think a domesticated fox would be pretty cool.

Okay, it's a cat, but not a domestic cat. So what about one of these? they say the hissing and growling isn't always aggression, its a kind of weird communication.

Maybe not the hissing or growling, but those fangs sure look like they mean business 😱

I'm thinking I would get a Giant Sloth.  Something that moves the same speed as me😉
