is it just as simple as cropping the BMP for the panel into two files and adding another :[window01]stanza to the config file with the correct gauge lines in it ?will it appear in FS2k2 as an additional selection in panel views ?I may answser my own question in a few min.. as I am going to try just that.

OK so that works...problem is the alignment for most of the gauges is messed up is there any easy way to fix that with out the trial and error method of editing the panel.cfg file ?thanks in advance..

You could try using FSEditor if you have FS2002Pro, or CfgEdit (freeware) or FS Panel Studio (shareware) from www.cfgedit.com . It will say that CfgEdit is not compatible with FS2002, which is partly true since it cannot open the new style XML gauges contained in the fs2002gauges*.cab files. Otherwise, it can open most other gauges.
