2020 TropicalSim AIG TAM planes pink but which LATAM

Featured Replies

Running into a bit of a confusing one and hoping someone can help!

Maybe @Kaiii3  can help.

Using AIG with all airlines installed.  I've done 2 flights into SBGR using TropicalSim SBGR.  In both cases I had pink planes that were labelled TAM in FSHUD traffic Map and being called TAM by ATC.  There were a few sitting to the right of 10R as you land.

The issue is I have opened AIG and installed missing repaints but when I went back I still had pink planes.  Went back into AIG and searched for TAM and got no results but I have no way of figuring out which of the updated LATAM airlines (there are a few) are causing the issue.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

If the paints were missing they wouldn't show up at all. Pink liveries generally mean that there's a bad texture.cfg or missing fallback texture for whatever particular paint it is. Do you ever use LNM by any chance? It tells you the title of the ai aircraft which will of course pin point which one to look into.

I think it's LATAM Brasil that still uses the TAM ICAO and callsign, so that's a start at least.

Thank you @Dave_YVR all great info.

I don't use LNM, maybe I should LOL.  I only figured out it was TAM from FSHud.

Looks like it is specifically the airbus paints.  Just tried removing Latam Brasil from AIM so going to see if that resolves the issue.

Thanks for the starting point Dave!

Edit 1:  Looks like Dave was correct.  Removing LATAM Brasil resolved the pink texture issue.  Going to see if I can dive into the repaint package and find any obvious errors.  @Kaiii3 looks like there is an issue with certain Airbus repaints in the LATAM Brasil Package.  Just an FYI

Even just to have for trouble shooting stuff like that. It's very helpful.

I just went to SBGR myself and have 3 or 4 pink textured airbuses. Using LNM, I see that it's AIGAIM_LATAM Airlines Brasil Airbus A319-100 - CFM WiFi Dome, AIGAIM_LATAM Airlines Brasil Airbus A320-200 - CFM WiFi Dome, AIGAIM_LATAM Airlines Chile Airbus A321-200SL. All 3 on my system are missing the main livery texture.

Wow, Once again, thank you!

It took me a couple of hours of downloading the package locally and opening .xml files, .txt and .cfg files to get what LNM showed you in minutes LOL  What's that about work smarter not harder.

Going to do some more playing with the package locally and see if by editing files or copying textures I can make it work.  For now I've just removed that package from AIM...

Thank you again @Dave_YVR tremendously helpful and REALLY appreciate the confirmation.

I would like to get this resolved by the F1 race this weekend LOL!

Sao Paolo is certainly a bustling cityscape to fly into!

I experienced the same issue, even after several traffic manager update.

Can you post any fix here, please?

Thanks

Thanks to Dave's help and Kaiii's suggestion this has already been picked up by the AIG team, looks like the issue has been identified and they are working on a fix.

Really can't thank you enough, @Dave_YVR, @atco, the whole AIG team, this type of "community" is the FS community I love being a part of!

Simply awesome.  Better support than we get with a LOT of payway and I'm not even just talking about FS LOL!!!
