It is a shame that the EGBE Coventry scenery from MT Scenery Design is apparently not compatible with MSFS 2024, because that is another excellent freeware addon.

I use this scenery in msfs2024 Chris.  It's not perfect and I think one or two of the taxiways are covered in grass, but other than that, it seems to work OK for me.  Certainly OK for landings and take offs from what I can see.  Hopefully, Morgan will update it for us.

Just what I was thinking when I looked at that list.

Perhaps we should have more than one list. That was more or less the best international airports-list. How about the best regional/local airports-list?

I am pretty sure a lot of the "ratings" come from people who go to flightsim (etc website), see the top rated/downloaded scenery and go from there. Bullfrog sim, Vincent's stuff is always amazing. There are a ton of freeware devs that sometimes I only put out one or two scenery and its amazing.

Most of the 2020 stuff works well enough in 2024...  I frequent all sorts of scenery, but prefer regional to smaller general aviation oriented airports.  I know I made a list like a year ago but I'll try to add some links for this post too (Mostly USA):

My top developer as well.  What I enjoy most is his hangars with open doors and populaed with equipment.  Adds a ton of life.

Too many airports from other freeware developers look good but are closed and dark, looking like we are back in the middle of the pandemic.

Downloaded the Augusta KAGS last night. Took out the Bonanza.

Followed the highway and  flew over the Golf course and came back.

I've been using it for months in 2024 and can't spot any issues.

It's a great scenery - my West Midlands base for UK GA flying.
