Brazil - One Rev Thruster Non-Operative??

Recommended Posts

The blame game :- Whenever a disaster occurs the blame net is cast to snare as many so called "contributing causes" as possible, the whole object being to dilute the blame so as to make it difficult to allocate just what or who is actually responsible for the disaster.Did either the Flight Recorder or Voice Recorder survive the inferno? Apparently they are both in the US. No word on condition. ISTM that the aircraft was heading left of centerline soon after landing. No indication yet of why, but speculation that either a, asymetric braking and/or hydroplaning, or b, asymetric thrust, perhaps related to No 2 R/T being inoped. scott s..

Whatever happened, in the end it's very sad. The cause is almost always a combination of factors, and finger pointing is almost always the end result. Here is a clip of the landing...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFLDFqZPg9oLee
