A statement by the developer that a "Christmas surprise [is] soon" was provided in response to a user on discord asking for a release estimate. Some older info here, and I think we can expect a more recent update in the coming days: https://www.projectstratosphere.com/news/

This project was significantly delayed due to technical challenges requiring assistance from as yet unknown partner developers, but it seems like it's close to completion. I believe for both sims, but maybe 2020 is first. We'll see.
