Winwing URSA MINOR 32 Throttle Metal

Featured Replies

To all Winwing URSA MINOR 32 Throttle Metal users:

How does the URSA MINOR 32 Throttle Metal / 32 PAC Metal in MSFS work, here speaking specifically for MSFS2020, which I am still using at present..

What interests me in particular is how the URSA MINOR 32 throttle can be configured in the MSFS Throttle setup, e.g., with Fenix Airbusse. Does everything work well, and is it already set up correctly ( plug and play ) for Fenix? If not, can this be done easily?
Can anyone comment on this so that we know before purchasing?

cheers 😉

Howdy. I have six pieces of WINWING gear.  To use any of them I must use a software bridge such as SimApp Pro, MOBIFLIGHT, SPAD, Axis & Ohs, etc. I’m confident the new WINWING gear is similar.  YMMV. TANSTAAFL. Blue skies,

I also have a lot of Hardware from Winwing, but I think it might be a little different with the URSA MINOR 32 Throttle Metal.
Question: are you already using the URSA MINOR 32 Throttle Metal ?

cheers 😉

For the throttle, SimAppPro provides some functionality (like the display for rudder trim), but you’ll need to assign your buttons and axes manually in MSFS.

Don't let that bother you though, it’s an excellent piece of equipment, a very nice upgrade from my Thrustmaster Airbus throttle.  It’s actually slightly easier to configure too as switches all have a button press when entering both the on and off positions.

This is in MSFS24 but I see no reason it would be different in 2020.

Howdy PM.  No I don’t own any of the new URSA products.  I’ve not paid too much attention to them as I already have a capable throttle/yoke (Turtle Beach Velocity One Flight).  That and my WINWING gear provides pretty much all the realism I and my desk space can handle LoL.  Sorry it was not my intention to give you an uninformed answer, just a guess.  Good luck with your research and let us know hat you find out.  Blue skies,

OK, this sound`s good, so i think i will get this Hardware but I still have to wait a while until it arrives in the European Store, because I'm not willing to pay customs duties, etc.!

It says 30 Dezember for the arrival in the European Store , if that works, but we will see.

But to late for a Christmas Gift... 😂

cheers 😉

I just received the throttle and flaps this week, what a great piece of equipment! Using manual thrust is so incredibly rewarding now. Setting it up wasn’t that bad, FENIX for instance has a guide on their website which takes you through each step to configure the hardware with their airplane. All in all, extremely happy with the purchase.

Nice bro... i had pre-ordered this in October and was about to make payment as advised only to discover it wouldn't recognize my new address (in a new suburb) no matter how much i tried and spoke with the chat...just simply a no go... they wanted me to take videos of me attempting to change my address to prove it wasn't user error! LOL... Ended up cancelling that pre-order and started again but will get it shipped to my daughter in Aussie who will post it over to NZ... works out to be cheaper... just have to be patient until they get it in stock there.. pity as i had the funds all set to go... they really need to work on there GUI system.... such is life

I also have a fair few WinWings products: about £1000 worth in total so far, and I think the quality is quite high at a relatively affordable price.

But as an organisation they do seem pretty chaotic: maybe struggling to scale up and trying to handle an international market without incurring the expense of using third party logistics?

Having pre-ordered this throttle back in October, I was recently sent a link to make payment, but it took me to a page saying it thought I was in the USA with some wordy gibberish about trademarks and needing a different website … which also didn’t work. Very frustrating. I think I may eventually have worked my way around it but only time will tell!

Thrustmaster Airbus Edition throttles etc, TPR pedals, MiniCockpit FCU, WinWings FCU, WinWings Orion 2 F15E, WinWings A320 sticks.

Same here, got my request to pay for my pre-order (UK), but every option just times out. It's a shame their online systems are nowhere near as good as their products.
